Hi forum,
I have a 2009 Civic Sedan LX, and originally, there were no rear speakers installed on the car! So I need to buy 2 speakers for the rear.
Anyone knows what kind of speakers? I mean "Watt" and "Ohm"?

either look for a pair of the honda paper speakers, or grab a set of 4 aftermarkets. crutchfield.com will have all the size specs and what fits if you go aftermarket. just choose the 'outfit your ride' and type in your car model.

Thanks but what if I cannot find Honda paper speakers or access that website?
My audio system is Type E as mentioned in the manual.
I just need to know the output power so I get the proper speakers!

i dont remember off hand, but most factory speakers are very low power handling, and factory stereo is also underpowered. they are prolly 4 ohm, and maybe a max of 30wRMS. prolly less tho. most aftermarket speakers are around 60wRMS. ive seen some pioneer at walmart that are around 30wRMS and those should work fine. just match up the sizes.

not sure on the size, prolly a 5 1/4 or 6 1/2. check over at 8thcivic.com they should have more info on changing speakers.
