Rep Power: 180 HELP: Do I have to reset radio using code if I disconnect battery?
Question: I'm about to disconnect my battery per DIY valve clearance. If I disconnect it, will I have to reset my radio via some kinda code?
If so, where can I get the code because I don't the original owner's manual?
If it's the same among all Civics can someone please give me the code?

they are all different, based on the radio serial number (printed on a label on top of the radio). sometimes pressing #1 and #6 buttons together will display the serial number. ofcourse, only the cd player has a code. tape and stereo do not. step into the radio thread if you need to. ive been getting codes from local dealer, but i dont think i can make it today due to illness.
