2009 civic EX auxiliary port broken

Long story short, I am an idiot and screwed up my aux port. Honda said they would replace it for $65. How hard is it to replace it? If not hard; where is the best place to get the replacement part?

Thanks in advance.

It is a bit special as it has a switch to know that a plug has been inserted that enables the selection of AUX.

Re: 2009 civic EX auxiliary port broken

I would not really suggest the dealer but... I don't know what is involved with disassembly of that crazy dash setup either. Having the factory part
would help as it will plug right in.

Have you searched around at the 8th gen Civic site ?? It may be of help.
