Taller Tire OK?

Hey there! I'm a newbie to the site and I have a tire question. The wife's '07 EX 4-door needs tires and I'm thinking of going to a 205/60-16 instead of the 205/55-16 stock size. The reason is the roads here in NorCal are getting worse and I'd like to put a little more space between the potholes and the rim. I checked and the OA diameter will only increase by about 3/4" or about 3/8" all the way around the tire. I know the speedo will be a little off (2 mph), too, but that's no big deal to me. I'm pretty sure everything will still fit without rubbing but have any of you tried this or know if it will be ok? Thanks!
