Clutch pad issue

The clutch does not come into action for the first few CMs I push it.
The show room person asks for replacement or entire system (costs Around 300 usd- 12000 inr )
what will happen if I continue ?
or should I go for immediate replacement?

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

Re: Clutch pad issue

Is yours a problem?
Fluid level check?
Compare to a similar model, "known good" car?

I believe we have a language issue, as I do not yet have a clear understanding of the problem.

Clutch pedal feels soft and engagement occurs lower than it used to?

Or the pedal feels stiff and the clutch engagement point is very high?
