Front Windshield Molding Blown Off in High Winds

Please see pics.

This was discussed here:
http://www.8thcivic.com/forums/mecha...-moulding.html

It's suggested that the part number is B-42-10 but when I go to the link there is a list of items not just one.

I'm confused. Which item do I need from that page? It looks like just a lengthy piece of black rubber came off.

B-42-10 refers to a panel (picture) number elsewhere in the Honda parts catalog.

This should be it: http://www.hondapartscheap.com/auto-parts/2006/honda/civic-sedan/ex-trim/5-speed-manual-engine/interior-bumper-cat/molding-scat

Re: Front Windshield Molding Blown Off in High Winds

Is this going to require removing the windshield to fix? Or is it a fairly easy snap-on type procedure?

I saw a video on youtube about fixing the molding but it seemed very complicated and involved removing the windshield...as well as a bunch of equipment and supplies that I don't have.

Where would be the most ideal type of auto-repair person type to take it to?

How important is fixing it?

It's cosmetic IMO, it's not gonna cause water leaks.

I let the windshield replacement guys handle the job. They usually just glue the trim in with windshield adhesive (urethane) and it's not going anywhere.
