Persistence pays off.

Few days ago the part next to the handle fell off. I went to the local Honda dealer andrequested replacement under car warranty. They told me the part is not covered.Spoke with the manager with sameresults. Yesterdaywent to another Honda dealer without aproblem theyreplace the part under car warranty.

If no obvious sign of abuse or damage, it should be covered under the bumper to bumper warranty IMO.
