Shop Heat

Here's a picture of our about 35 year old kerosene heater used to heat up our shop, my brothers uninsulated garage gets comfortable even when it's 20 outside. A tank full around 3 gallons lasts all day, heat output is about 10K BTU, no problems with the smell either. Planning on purchasing a mister fan for shop cooling. Some day I will have an insulated garage, garage door and window heat AC unit. Shop heat that is, can't correct the post title error.

Re: Shop Heat

Nope it still works well after all these years. Just letting the "do it yourselfers" know of an option to heat their garages so working on their cars is much more comfortable. Frozen busted knuckles are the worst. I bet you know what I am talking about being from Canada, I'm originally from upstate NY and remember working on cars when there was ice on the garage floor, not fun.
