Rep Power: 0 Green Key Light, A/C and Radio problems and other oddities!
Hi all,
I have a 2007 Honda Civic LX. I’m based in California, so it’s been hot.
Long story short, I used it Friday. Didn’t use it Saturday. And Sunday night when I tried it - got a bunch of problems.
It made some weird electrical noises and threw up a green key icon, along with an array of other icons.
I took video of it here:
I tried the valet key this morning and it removed some of the icons, but it still won’t let me play the radio and the AC at the same time and still has two other icons up. So, I feel like something is wrong…It should be noted that I did have problems two years ago with the air filter. But, the air filter is still clean now, so its definitely not that.
I have a jumper battery charging in the garage right now, I was going to try that once it’s got a full battery. But, not really sure if that’s the problem. From the noises it feels electrical in nature, but I’m not very savvy when it comes to cars.
Thanks all.

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

Weak or dead battery.
Charge it up or jump start to get it running.

Pull each fuse, one at a time, and check to see each one is OK. Be sure you put each fuse back in the correct place. Make sure there are no missing fuses.
