Rep Power: 0 AC Blowing cool - but not cold
Anyone that can help out with this, I would really appreciate it. Several months ago my AC started blowing warm air. Checked the engine and saw that the compressor clutch was not spinning. Replaced the relay and clutch engaged, and started blowing cold air. A few weeks after, the fans stayed engaged for hours after the car was off. Again, replaced a relay and solved the issue. Now the air is blowing cool, but not cold. Had the system evacuated, vacuumed, pressures on high and low side holding steady at proper pressures. Still not blowing COLD air.
Last night the temps here crept down into the 50s and I had the vent open (AC not on and no recirculate) and noticed that the air coming through was not as cold as it should be. This makes me wonder if the actual temp control inside the car is not working. My question are: Is there a way to check this (if so how) and does anyone have any experience with a similar issue that could offer some advice?
Apologies if I am making mistakes in how to post...newbie here.

Maybe check the blend door and the blend door actuator. If these cars have such a thing. I'm new to the Civic and new cars in general.

What corysam states sounds reasonable this is likely an electronically controlled butterfly valve that routes the air across or around the heat core. Was the Freon charge weight measured in, the weight of the amount of Freon is how the correct amount of charge is determined. I've worked on everything that has a motor for around 40 years, but the resident expert is Ezone who is a long time Honda Mechanic. I'd contact him.

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one
Re: AC Blowing cool - but not cold
Locate the HVAC blend (temperature) door actuator and linkages, push/pull give it a little assistance moving back and forth, and see if it's just a sticky door that isn't moving all the way to the cold position.
I've seen this help on a couple higher mileage cars, but nobody has wanted us to tear the dash out to see if there's a problem inside the HVAC housing.
