I've got the dreaded floppy sun visor and need to get a replacement. Where is the cheapest place that forum members have found for Honda parts?

Before anybody mentions it, I have tried the fix by David Sweeny on YouTube and it only partly worked.

Was able to fix mine with 5 black tie-wraps. Drilled 5 small holes thru equally spaced where the spring is. Then took a small micro rat-tail file and made the hole elongated. Then pushed the tie-wraps thru so when visor are parked, all you see is 5 black smooth strips. Pulled ties up and snipped them. The visors snap right up to the roof.

There is a recall but did not know about it till my time and mileage just went past it.

Regardless of where you order it, you'll be looking at a range of $45-55 for a replacement, even on ebay. My gf's 08 had the same problem, so I tried a few fixes, and settled on a similar fix to the one you mentioned. The only difference is I used 3 bolts (instead of Sweeny's 2), and it seems to be holding up nicely.

edit: Just did a price check at collegehillshonda. They gouge you on shipping charges. Same part shipped to me comes out to ~$65 shipped to me.

Tried the fixes and mine never held up long. Replaced the thing with a new one and never looked back.

I was recently told by a friend that the dealer replaced one for them for free under a tsb. First one on them, but that is it. I just bought one on ebay for $50 before he told me that though...lol
