Damaged clear coat
Has anyone got any recommendations to repair damaged clear cost?
I don't want to get the car redone, ideally I would like a decent repair job to the area.
Anyone ever attempt a repair?

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one
Re: Damaged clear coat
Dealer. Very likely to have a Warranty extension on the paint/clearcoat for cracking, clouding or chalking.
VIN starts with 2HG, see your dealership. They need to run the VIN report to see if it's a possible candidate.
I can't check your VIN because you're in Canuckia and I'm not.
In the USA it's addressed in bulletin 14-034, not sure if they use the same numbering up there.

You aren't the original owner? Issues like this are a great reason to contact Honda about you being the new owner of the car. Recalls and warranty extensions are handy things to be informed of.

mrmrsmiley,
sorry, i had to move your post from the DIY section, that section is meant for posts that have directions on how to do it yourself, not for asking directions.
hope you understand that it's not against you, it's just so people can get to actual instructions easier than going through too many pages of information that is not actually a help to anyone.
cheers!
