Rep Power: 0 2006 Honda civic EX coupe
The motor was replaced by Honda for free, recall on the motor, it was leaking coolant. They charged me labor on the side engine mount, they said it was broken, so it had to be replaced. Isn't this part of the labor to take off and put on. Charging me for the part is ok but I don't think I should have been charged for that labor portion. It was a side engine motor mount by the belt.Is this correct, a little help anybody, new to the forum. Thx in advance...

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

I don't touch that mount when I drop the engine out, I simply remove one bolt and one nut to drop the engine away from the mount. The mount stays attached to the frame/fender.
There would still be 90% of the labor remaining in order to replace it IMO.
