I have an 02 civic ex and about 1 1/2 weeks ago the check engine light came on, it already had a little bit of a rough idle, but no loss in power, the RPMs didn't even show a change, you could just feel it. I had the codes read at autozone and they were P0300, P0301, P0302, P0303, and P0304. I changed my spark plugs which helped with the rough idle a little so I took it in and was told the valves needed to be adjusted, but other than that everything else looked fine. I had the vavles adjusted about 5 days ago which made the idle feel normal and everything was running great. This morning the light came back on, but it's still running just fine. I'll take it at lunch to have the codes read again but I just wanted to see if anyone else has had this problem and had any advice for me.

Just had the codes read and now it's only cylinder 4 misfiring.
