Rep Power: 0 Used honda civic 2006 1.8 litre s mt problems encountered?
Hi guys.
M gonna buy a used honda civic 1.8 s mt
its 56k driven
what all things i should check before signing a dotted line.
Problems i observed -
1. A c cooling is not effective ( some repair work has been done in past as i came to know from service records)
2. Wheel alignment is also an issue. Steering inlcined towards left .
3. Tyres are of good year and left with less threadings on it.
please do post your suggestions .it will be helpful
thanx in advance

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

Suggest the SELLER have these repaired to your satisfaction before you make any purchase.
If the seller is not willing to make proper repairs, you may shop elsewhere for a different car that DOES work correctly.
Even after this seller makes repairs, I strongly recommend you have the car inspected thoroughly by a trusted, observant, paid technician.....before any agreement for purchase.
Could be $100 wisely spent.
It is easy to make improper repairs to cover up and hide real and expensive problems.
