Rep Power: 0 2010 civic coupe vibrates on a "P"arking mode
Hello, i am new here.
my 2010 civic coupe vibrates on a "P" and when stops on a "D".
I went to honda dealership and technician said brakes pad need to be replaced. i paid $120 for inspection (even the car is under warranty) and $3xx for brake pads.
However, the car still has same problem.
I argued with a manager at dealership, but he said the technicians could not find any issue except brake pads.
I want to visit dealership one more time before warranty expires.
I want to know what is your opinion on this video. I drove about an hour and parked.

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

Did you demonstrate your concern to a qualified technician or advisor?

1st. Call the cops & have them arrested for robbery.
2nd. Don't take your car to the dealer for service, EVER, unless it's FREE!
3rd. Go to the salesman who sold you the car & tell him how the service department has lost him a customer or 8!
4th. Come here first instead of the stealership...Ezone will diagnose your problems for half that amount.
5th. Have a Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!
PS...When your brakes start to squeal, don't try to solve the problem with STP Injection Cleaner.

Re: 2010 civic coupe vibrates on a "P"arking mode
Some days I really wish I could do this. Today was one of those days.
An indy shop or kids ruined an 01 Accord.
OMG I'll have to try to get pics before it leaves the shop.
2nd. Don't take your car to the dealer for service, EVER, unless it's FREE! HEY!
We aren't all greedy idiots here. Some of us deserve more than getting slammed because of someone elses misdeeds.
I gotta eat too, you know.
I'm tired of eating one-name bologna.
An honest dealer will let you know when something has a warranty extension. (I know we do, but I can't vouch for any others.) Independents don't always get that information. I see a lot of work done by other shops that could have been covered by warranty if the customer had been at our shop.
Besides, all you people with newer cars are stuck with the dealers for a lot of electrical work. The vast majority of everything is operated by computers. MUAHAHAHAHA!
The salesmaggots themselves run off enough of our business already.
Besides, they usually don't care about service.
The salesmaggot already got his commission off of your sale.
He is done with you.
Begone.
You know I hate that term, right? You are almost on my s***list for that.
And if my time is worth over $2 per minute for them, it is damn well worth that much for me to touch cars in my off time. Maybe more.
5th. Have a Merry Christmas & Happy New Year! Bah. Freekin. Humbug.
PS...When your brakes start to squeal, don't try to solve the problem with STP Injection Cleaner. PAM cooking spray is what one lady used on her noisy brakes. No lie.

I should be used to it by now, over half of my career has been in dealers.
Some have been far better than others.
I KNOW why people call dealers that, and I can't change it.
Maybe that's because I'm a 'Salesmaggot'?
I guess I shouldn't use the term either.... Damn.
Now what?
