Rep Power: 0 2007 won't turn over, won't take a jump start, all electrical still works
We bought this Honda used less than a year ago. Yesterday afternoon when I was leaving work, it wouldn't start. I turned the key and no sound at all. Radio, lights, etc. still work. Tried to jump start it but it wouldn't work. I've been told by friends it might still be the baterry but would like to know what else might be wrong before I have it towed to the Honda dealer (I'm not sure I trust them to tell me the truth). Thanks in advance for your help.

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

Manual trans: Clutch switch, starter cut relay, ignition switch, starter.
Auto trans: Trans range switch, starter cut relay, ignition switch, starter.
All: Wires.
Probably left out some stuff.
A wire diagram, a test light, and some working knowledge of the systems involved could lead you to a more correct answer.
Then find someone you can trust.

Despite ezones large list which are all possibilities, the TYPICAL problem is a bad starter or starter solenoid.
