2009 -Condenser and Radiator Fan not starting

So my car A/C all of sudden started blowing warm air with A/C on. So I looked under the hood and saw that the compressor is not engaging. Also now the condenser fan and the radiator fan doesnt seem to be running too.

Its 2009 civic so its kinda odd that two fans and the compressor are not working....

The heater seems to be working.

Any ideas/suggestions will be appeciated....

Thanks...

Re: 2009 -Condenser and Radiator Fan not starting

If the fans aren't running with the system turned on, then the system has been shut off by the HVAC controller, the MICU, or the PCM.

Quite likely it lost the freon and can't operate now.
Not the only possible cause, but quite likely.

See if there is a hole in the condensor.
Rocks don't care how new your car is.
Stop drafting semi trailers.

Take it to a reputable and competent shop.

Thanks for the response.

Do you think I need to take it to the dealer?? Or a good shop would suffice?

This didn't explain enough? Seriously?

I work for a dealer, so I am biased, and I realize I am not the average mechanic.
I also realize that the vast majority of shops, dealer AND independent, depend on low wage mouth breathers to generate the majority of the revenue. You will find this same phenomenon in almost every business.
(Guess who has already "burned my toast" this morning....)

Seek out smart people for all of your dealings, no matter where you go.

Maybe I should add

If it is just low on freon, that is one thing......

But if it is an electronic or a control problem, the dealer has the equipment to deal with it.
You would need to find an independent that not only specializes in Hondas, but one that also has invested heavily in Hondas tooling if you don't want to go to a dealer (mostly when it comes to higher tech stuff, and it is getting so that everything on the car has computer controls).
