Rep Power: 0 Driver side speakers sound blown when iPhone plugged into Aux...
Hey everyone... I'm new to this site, and know little about cars...
I have a 2010 Civic DX-G, last week it sounded like my driver side front and rear speakers were blown, so I replaced all 4. They still sound like that. I only listen to my iPhone for podcast and music, so when I started to use the radio I noticed how clear and loud the system was...
Now I tested my iPhone with speakers and earbuds and it sounds great.
I figure it comes down to the Aux cable or the aux jack itself. When plugged into the Aux, it sounds like no power is coming to the driver side and then kicks in.
So my question:
1. Can an Aux cable make a difference in making the speaker sound blown?
2. If it's the Aux jack, can Honda deny me the warranty since I've added speakers, sub and an amp... that's what the guy at Honda says I'm risking, but the auto guy at Futureshop laughed and said Honda's looking to screw me.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance!
SOLVED: I replaced the aux cable and it works great now.

Re: Driver side speakers sound blown when iPhone plugged into Aux...
have you tried not completely plugging the plug in? I know that when I was using an Ipod for music, sometimes it sounded bad with the plug fully inserted, but if I wiggled it a bit out it has fine and clear.
