06 civic..p0128...how to test ect1 and ect2 sensors

06 civic lx, 1.8liter, 75k miles...I have code P0128 and what to test the two ect sensors before I go and replace them. Does anyone have the ohms or voltage drop spec's for these sensors? Any other advise appreciated.

With the sensors disconnected, there shouldn't be more than 5 or so volts going to the power and ground wires(key on, engine off. You should be able to use accessories). If the power and ground wires don't have the same voltage, you have a problem.

Re: 06 civic..p0128...how to test ect1 and ect2 sensors

Thanks MelJ, a couple of questions on how to do the measurement with the digital volt/ohm meter...
with sensor electrical connection disconnected, measure volt drop from 5V power feed on feed side of connector to power side probe on sensor? Same method for ground side?

Any opinion on measuring live voltage drop while car in running to see if voltage drops when car gets warm?
