New to the form..
just wondering if I can replace the starter battery for a hybrid with a Walmart battery that is for an Lx/Ex.(not the hybrid battery in the trunk). Walmart doesent list a specific battery type for the Hybrid.. so i got the one that they recommended for the 1.8L, which is abourt 1.5" longer than the hybrid OEM one, but still may fit.
Does anyone know if this will cause any issues?

i would use whatever you can fit that has a higher CCA (cold crack amp) rating than stock. the bigger the better but be sure battery has room. the "starter battery" is a regular lead acid nothing special.
