Headers for 03 lx

Kamikaze 4-1 headers for an 03 lx, do i really need a high-flow cat and if so I need feedback on the headers and which cat to get.

Re: Headers for 03 lx

well that header does not have a cat, so you will lose the stock one which is right beneath the header. and the problem is if you want a cat, its gonna have to be custom welded somewhere under the car.

Re: Headers for 03 lx

^Ditto.

It's cheaper to get a universal cat and take it to a muffler shop to get it welded in. I got an HP racing header with the downpipe/test pipe. when I get the universal cat, I'll just take it to a shop and have them weld it into the downpipe, aka I'll be able to still bolt it up at home by myself. Of course, I'm waiting for a new cat back as well.
