Power: 3 Little to no HP gain (big surprise)
Sound: 9 Great deep, low pitched sound, much quieter and subtle
Look: 7 Angled look is a drawback to some, not me
Install Ease: 10 Simple bolt on at the axle back, 2 bolts
Price: 8 Much cheaper than full cat-backs (339 shipped truehonda.com)
Fitment: Sedans AND Coupes





Great exhaust for this car IMO... nice low pitched tone at low RPM's and sounds amazing at high RPM's w/ 0 raspiness. Since the d17 doesn't really care for bolt ons, not much power gain can be achieved w/ exhausts, so the HKS does the job! Hit up Eddie at www.truehonda.com and he will give you a great price

Good review. I have the same exhaust and what I like the most about it is that it does not sound too loud.

There's a few on youtube.. but I think this one sounds the most accurate (stock header n' downpipe)

i love mine. the only downside ive found that cars that are really low (like mine lol) the can tends to hit on the highway on larger bumps. other than that i love it!

yah ive scratched my exhaust here and there.... jw but does it stay loud after 4k rpms? on mine it kinda dies out and gets quiet after 4200ish... kinda weird...

what size pipe does it bolt to? stock is like 1 1/3 inch right?

How would it sound with 2 2/3 inch piping?.?.?.?.?

This is a great exhaust, i have it and love it. I think they should have back it a catback instead of just the rear section though.
