For Sale!
2001 Civic EX Vtec Coupe

205Kish miles
Columbus OH
$2500 OBO

Looking for a beater/daly driver? Or maybe you actually know what you're doing and you'd like to build a nasty swapped sleeper, either way this vehicle may be for you.
Has it seen better days? Yes, I won't lie. Is it well worth $2500 in parts? Absolutely. The car does start and drive, but it overheats quickly, so getting it where you'll need it to go is on you. I recommend a tow although it does drive.

The good:
practically new wheels & tires. 15 inch Steelies with all season tires. Purchased in early december of 2015 for over $650.
Decent paint, almost no rust. Minor dings on body panels, one weird dent on the left side of hood.
Original fender moldings & mud guards! (Perhaps not the MOST important item on your check-list, but definitely not something you see every day)
MINT interior with the exception of the drivers side sun-visor. Surprisingly clean for the vehicle's age. CIVIC FLOOR MATS!
It has a moonroof, what's not to love about that?
5 speed manual transmission! Clutch feels like it's in pretty good shape. I don't pound on this car.

The BAD:
Leaky front main seal
AC belt tensioner is in need of adjustment
BLOWN WATER PUMP (Presumably)
If you have the time, space, and tools to do an engine swap this vehicle is seriously great. I'd love to throw a K20 in it and destroy some mustangs but I don't have the time to invest.
Similarly, if you have the time to give it a new water pump, chances are this engine will go for quite a while. I know the D17's aren't great to build/squeeze power out of but if you need a daily driver this thing is seriously great. I wish I didn't have to sell it. The car does start and drive, but it overheats quickly, so getting it where you'll need it to go is on you. I recommend a tow although it does drive.

I'm asking $2500 because I need to get as much as possible out of this sale, but if you're willing to pay cash up front I may have some flexibility there.
That being said, I know what this car is worth and I'd really appreciate *REASONABLE* offers. Just shoot me an E-mail and we can talk.
Like I said, the car does run but a tow would be best if you don't want to fry the engine due to overheating.
