1991 100% Rust Free Honda Civic LX 4 door sedan. 1.5L 4 cyl engine/ 4 speed automatic. 154,000 miles. Power steering, power door locks, power brakes, cruise control, power mirrors, AC (needs charge). The car runs well. I had this car shipped from California in Novemember 07. It has never been used in the winter. “Typical Honda rust?” I don’t think so, not with this one. There is no rust anywhere, not even the exhaust system., the doors, rockers, hood, trunk are all as solid as any car from California would be. The car has never been in an accident, and is straight as an arrow except for 20 years worth of dings, dents and shopping carts. The car has new spark plugs and a new valve cover gasket. The MICHELIN tires have only about 3000 miles on them. There are new brake rotors/ pads/ up front, and new drums / shoes/ on the back. The master cylinder was replaced a year ago. The battery and alternator are less than two years old. The strut rod bushings, sway bar bushings (front and rear) and sway bar links, and the big rear trailing arm bushings are all new polyurethane energy suspension pieces.. The car has a Kenwood cassette/ 6 disk changer, and IT WORKS!!
