WTB - _Stock_ / Low Mile Civic / Budget is 3k / Chicago SW Suburbs

Hello

I've recently completely exhausted my ford escort at 375k miles and am now looking for a replacement. I realize this forum is geared towards enthusiasts and modders, but I really just want a completely stock civic to get to and from. I'd prefer an automatic transmission as I don't know how to drive stick.

I've been looking on other forums and craigslist but it seems like the civic more than any other car is very commonly, "riced out". I'm interested in any stock civic EXCEPT model years 2000 and 2001.

As the title says, my budget is $3000 and I am located in the south west suburbs of Chicago. I can drive to you in the chicago area, within reason. I've bought a 10 pack of carfax reports and would like to have VIN numbers.

I got a 93 civic hatchback with 56,000 miles. Automatic, some dents and dings. Runs great.
