Re: d17 FIDANZA FLYWHEEL... and EX ECU
whats the advantage of having a lighter one? i know ur engine would rev up faster and everything, but does it really affect acceleration or anything like that?

Re: d17 FIDANZA FLYWHEEL... and EX ECU
Fidanza Flywheels reduce the moment of inertia characteristics on an engine, thereby increasing useable power to the wheels. Using a Fidanza aluminum flywheel not only offers dramatic increases in useable power, but can also potentially extend engine life by reducing the stress on the crankshaft and main bearings.

Re: d17 FIDANZA FLYWHEEL... and EX ECU
By the way putting in a flywheel is just like doing a clutch except you have to do 1 more step. The flywheel is located behind the clutch and to take it off you just have to remove 6 bolts. The clutch and pressure plate together grip the flywheel to get the car moving. So just consider it a clutch job.
