So do I just remove the OEM wires and just replace it with the wires in the kit? Easy and straight forward install right- any kind of tools needed?

yep. just pull the old ones off and bolt on the new ones in their place. just need a couple sockets/wrenches.

are these really useful?

i have a pretty big system with a 35 farad cap, how good are these? let me know i would mind a set of silver or blue, and is this super easy?

2001 honda civic ex sedan, btw, not sure on gen i think, 7?

it helps the electrical load on the car by enlarging the 3 main grounds that the OEM ones are tiny. i've got a silver kit left that's on sale in my other Sale thread. yes, they're easy to install. just 5 connection points to take loose, and bolt the new ones down. PM me your paypal address and what kit you'd like if you're interested.
