was your civic that you have now the only car you ever owned? the D series Vtec has been around for a long time! the D15B Vtec was the first SOHC D series Vtec. then came the D16Z6 that was in the USDM 92-95 civic EX and SI
then was the D16Z1 which was in the Vx and Hx which was the Vtec-e models. they were gas savers with roller rockers. then came the 96-00 civic. the D16Y8 had Vtec, the D16Y5 was the Vtec E....the Bseries engine and the K series was not the only motors with Vtec. yes the B16A in the 88-91 civic SIR in Japan was the first Vtec engine ever....but the Dseries Vtec was not too far off.. oh and one im forgetting that prolly noone has ever heard of here is the SOHC ZC Vtec. yes its a D series and it PWNS all the ones i just mentioned. the DOHC version of the ZC was non Vtec and it was a 1.6L it will destroy all the above motors even the B16 i mentioned...the ZC is very underrated.
Dude just park it in a big field and burn it give it a proper burrial you have killed some poor kids hopes and dreams of what a real car looks like. it looks more like a poor little tyco rc car then a civic and i bet its slower then 1 tooo!!!!!
