Mileage on car is 66,xxx, 2001 Honda Civic LX 2 door located in Cleveland, Ohio
Exterior:
Rear windows/windshield tinted about 25%, Cleared Headlights with HID’s (4100k) from an Acura TL fit into the H4 housing, OEM ballasts. Also have a car alarm installed w/ 2 way pager system.
Interior:
RSX-S Black leather seats, RSX-S Shift knob, Honda CD player (not reading CD’s, unsure why).
Engine:
K20A2 from 2003 RSX-S, with 6 speed close ratio transmission, using Hasport polyurethane motor mounts. Very clean swap. Motor has about 40,000 miles on it, 30k I put on daily driving it. Stock header and catalytic converter, AEM CAI modified to fit from RSX-S, Greddy exhaust with custom 2.5” midpipe. No power steering or A/C, but I will include most of the parts to install these items if you desire, including the elusive power steering high pressure hose I have. Battery relocated to trunk. I pulled 34mpg highway once, usually 27 with a lot of city driving involved. Car uses premium gas, oil changes have all been done with Mobil 1 or Havoline full synthetic since swapped in.
Suspension:
Koni Yellow Struts for 01-03 Civic, Eibach Pro Kit for RSX-S, Front and rear Progress sway bars and rear tie bar, Grey’s upgraded endlinks, camber kit installed (unknown brand), Neuspeed Front Upper Strut bar. Car is 5-lug, with RSX-S front and rear disc brakes. Wheels are 02-04 RSX-S stock wheels, with the stock Michelin performance tires (about 80-90% tread left I’d say). Stops and turns on a dime, I love the steering balance the Progress bars give, only once did I induce oversteer, but they put you right on the edge of it. These springs are acceptable driving daily, rarely will I scrape, and roll is very minimal in the corners.

The Bad:
Car runs, and has always run, great. Only swap related problem I ever had is when the battery cable was grounding out on the alternator pulley, NEVER had anything else happen. Check engine light is on; it has been on almost since I bought it. The code means there is a leak somewhere in the EVAP evaporative emissions system. Since it has not affected performance (176.2hp/128.5tq on a 80+ degree sunny day), and did not cause me to fail emissions testing, I have not repaired it.
SRS light is on, needs reset. Came on when I switched out to RSX-S seats. These seats have side SRS airbags, which will actually be functional once the system is reset.
Suspension makes some noise, as almost all lowered suspensions do. Just disclosing this fact.
The exterior isn’t much to look at, but for me it was never about the looks. The front bumper and fenders were damaged when I hit a dog on the freeway last year, and the replacements do not match perfectly. Front bumper has a chunk missing on the bottom, from scraping, not noticeable unless you look for it. Rear bumper needs a repaint from the hit/run it took in a parking lot a year ago.

This is a great car, very fast/fun to drive for a Civic, as I have done daily for 2 years. I’m going to be married soon, and really want to move back to a stock car; I have a house and no time for car related projects. This car already has a great suspension setup on it, I’m sure it would also be an awesome opportunity for someone to boost it as well, or explore the awesome N/A capabilities of this motor. Obviously, the car has more $ invested in it at this point than it’s worth, and I have already taken $1000 off what I think is a reasonable price for this car for the paint work you may want to do (or keep it sleeper as I have).
I’m selling it for $10,000. Please email me @ doubledeuce@graffiti.net with any questions you may have.

wow 10k is def a steal! Somone snap this up...btw hows the tranny? I heard the earlier rsx trans grinded a litle in 2nd.
heard that too, but never had that problem. only grind i ever got was when i first installed the CAI, the transmission would bump it when i shifted to 5th. fixed that with a little bending, no longer a problem.

My best run on the 1/4 mile stock LX :
1/4 mile 17.322 @ 78 mph
R/T .406
60 ft 2.727
1/8 10.539 @63 mph
My first time, next time i will get better numbers
bumping this, now will take $9500. only trade considered would be for a basically stock car, ideally with the stock parts still available.
also, car now has about 73k. i drive btwn indianapolis and cleveland almost every weekend, so i can meet at either place or anywhere in between! save the poor swap from more miles! (although it has gotten as good as 37mpg!)
No hard feelings dude, but i have a swap in my car and when i wanted 14,000 no one wanted it. Everyone says your's is selling for cheap and that it's a steal. I have so much shit done to mine too, over 12k invested in it. Mine runs like a champ too, only 50k Miles, no engine light, no grinding...LOVE MY CAR. Too bad ppl still only think of it as a civic. But, i do love seeing ppl's jaw's drop when i smoke them after ****ing with me on the road, haha.
Interested in a trade? i have a 02 EX coupe auto w/ under 50k?
