Custom Machined Central Ground System

OK, lets try this again. Previously, I was logged in as donsixer, and now I am registered to post in this forum.
As a lot of you already know, I have developed a Central Ground System. My tests have shown significant improvments over even the aftermarket systems that are out there.
There are two kits available.
The Base kit includes a machined aluminum central ground block that shows no bolts when it is installed. Very clean. Also includes a bracket, instructions, and all fasteners needed. This kit allows the DIYer with his own cabling to save a little cash.
This kit sells for CDN$49(US$39).
The Full Kit includes everything in the Base Kit and adds the 4 and 8 guage cabling with gold plated connectors, and a battery terminal. I am offering cabling in Black Silver, Blue, Red and Purple.
This kit sells for CDN$119(US$99).
For shipment into the States, add $10, and be sure to include your shipping address in the notes section in PayPal.
My tests have shown this setup gives better results than the typical end-to-end installations that are out there. Better results being a more consistant source voltage to all sensors.

I have installed these kits on BMWs, a number of Hondas, VWs, and my own G2 B16 Integra.

If you want a color other than the five that I have listed, let me know, and I will source it out for you. The colors I have are not a solid color, they are clear. They look very good.
But yeah, other colors are no problem. Either e-mail me, or mark your color preference in the notes field in PayPal. Just give me an extra couple of days for delivery...

I've seen tests done with other kits that have shown gains up to 10whp.
A new 350Z gave an additional 8whp in the Import Tuner test, and this is with a kit that connected the wires in a loop....

The reason why most of us haven't jumped on this has to do with the disappointment from the last grounding kit. We were promised big gains for everything. Then when people got it (including me), we pretended that it was working when it really wasn't.

I think if you put up some dyno results for our cars, more people will get one.

Oh yeah?!
Well, to get the best improvements you do have to connect the wires in the right locations. Also, if you are not tying back to a common point, you won't see as good a return since the voltage fluctuations (typically between .5 and 1volt) that are present in the stock system, remain there when in a loop or serial connection.
Finally, I'm not going to say everyone with this kit is going to make 15hp. Results will vary. I can say that any test published in a magazine has shown returns between 5 and 10 whp.
Here are a couple: Suzuki Aerio - 6whp, Nissan 350z - 8rwhp
Import Tuner listed a ground upgrade in the top 10 upgrades to do because the bang for the buck was so high.
But, hey, I appreciate the heads up. If there are any questions feel free to ask.

I've seen what it did for LilJoe's DX and I was impressed enough to get the kit myself. If someone wants to kick in I'll get my EX/Si dyno'd before and after.I could try and book two seperate appointments at Tapp to get the car tested.

Lemme know.

I wasn't planning on putting mine on til the winter more or less subsides. I want to get the engine bay detailed and make sure that all my contact points are as clean as possible. Salt and stuff just makes a mess of everything.

The phrase of the day is "EFFECTIVE ground kit"
This kit is for the people that want to upgrade their electrical system, and realize a performance return. Randomly adding grounds, say to your firewall, will do jack.
Sold with instructions...

As much as I hated spending $40 on the other ground kit that didn't work, I may end up getting your full version. Can we see some pics of the kit installed? I want to get an idea of how it looks, and where you put the block. Also pics of the wire colors.

So is this product guaranteed to provide some kind of noticable gain?

grrr...I want to put mine on now. I don't have a real digi cam so I can't take any really good pics, just that one above with my wires. I have the full kit

I know two guys that use this kit. One is in a 7thgen and one is not. Both have noticed improvements.

And the instructions for the kit tell you exactly how to hook it up the right way? Would the base kit work with Happies ground wires (five different sized 4ga cables)?

And how does the block connect to the wires and battery?

Ok, I will work on getting some pics for you guys...
gearbox: Yup, the instructions show you where to connect the wires for the best gains. The cables fit into the block and are tightened in with a set screw. This gives a very solid connection. It also removes the transitions in the cable. ie cable->terminator->bolt->ground
As far as performance gains, some cars do see more of a gain than others, like any mod. Every car that has this kit has seen an improvement, however. A couple have really blown my mind.
If anyone would like to incorporate 4 gauge cables that you already have, let me know. I can customize a kit to accept the larger wires.
pharoh: C'mon dude, I'm spending a couple hours a night out in my unheated garge fabbing these up. Get out there. No sympathy...

I redid the grounding system I have. Now I've got three cables coming from the battery and going to the tranny, radiator support, and valve cover. I still didn't notice any difference with the central point method. Maybe our cars have good grounding already, or I'm just using the wrong points.

Could you tell us where you grounded them? Or at least sell the instructions separately? Or at least tell us HOW you found the ideal grounding points. Thanks.

Not sure why everyone does the rad support here.
Here are some points:
Alternator
Thermostat housing
Throttle body
Valve cover
Tranny
These are the five points you should use. On every Honda with EFI the thermostat housing has been the main ground point for the ECU and sensors. The alternator case is the factory ground for the alternator. Do NOT connect the ground to the back where the big cable already is. That is a hot wire. Bad things will happen. There are bolts around the outside that hold the case together, use these.
The other methods for connecting the wires (the firewall, rad support, engine mounts) are there more to show off the wires. Bleh...no use for that.
So there, some free info...but if you want illustrated info...ya gots ta get the kit...

Thanks dude. At the end of the day, I'm trying to help some people out with their cars.
Now, if you use the kit that you have, and conect these points, you are going to get some of the benefits. To get everything out of an upgraded ground, tie it all back to a common point...
