Hmm... I may do that. I'de like to finish off the testing first though. Then I'll make a nice thread with all of the pics and what not.

Thanks. Well, keep me in mind if you ever do get an aftermarket sway bar or two.

Grey, when u think these will be ready? i think i broke my old ones
one of my lower control arm(?) its the Y shape part connect to the lower part of the end link, is also broken. How much do u think a lower control arm will cost? and can i diy install them?
and pm me or something with price when ur end links are ready
You can install the lower control arms yourself. Sure. It just takes a lot of time and some tools. An impact gun is useful. I see that you replied to the "Help: Lower Control Arm bushing...DIY?" thread. Basically follow those instructions and you should be fine. The lower control arms cost about $81 from www.hondaautomotiveparts.com; that's not shipped. Look for "Knuckle". I don't know what other parts you need?
I will definately PM you when the end links are ready. I will PM everyone that was interested in a set actually.
Edit: Oh yeah, these might be ready to go today actually. I have the new jam nuts and o-rings. I will be installing those and testing them today.
are those $81 lower control arm designed for the RSX Type R? if not, where I can find those forge aluminum lower control arms from a RSX Type R and how much? thanks
btw, i can just put in the front bushing in myself with normal tools?
No, the $81 lower control arms are just the stock civic ones. That's per side. So... $162 total. The Type R ones can be had from www.jdmhondaparts.com for $550 shipped for both sides. Ouch! I don't know if you can install the front bushings with "normal" tools by yourself. This depends on how proficient you are with tools and which tools you have. I haven't done anything like this yet, so I wouldn't know? I will be installing a set of lower control arm bushings sometime in the future though. When I do I'll try to write up a detailed DIY.
OK, another update. This one is big. It looks like I'm close to being finished. I installed the jam nuts and the o-rings and the noises I heard earlier are totally gone. It worked! Now I just need to ride with it on there for a while and see if there are any weird things going on. Like premature wear of components. Torque loss. I checked torque this time when installing the o-rings and jam nuts and it was dead on at 47 foot pounds.
I will be leaving for the Mid-Atlantic meet on Sat. It's a long drive and I'm sure the road will be plenty bumpy. This will be a good test for my design. I will be back on Sun. I'll have another report on either Sun. or Mon.

Progress makes front and rear sway bars for our cars. They do not come with endlinks. They come with polyurethane bushings though. The mounting kit that Progress makes for our cars that are not equiped with rear sway bars has endlinks.

Thanks. I'll PM you in a second.
Here's a small update: I went to the Mid-Atlantic meet and I the drive was about 1000 miles long. I had the endlinks on the front sway bar (the 27mm one from Progress). They stood the test of time. No problems whatsoever. I will finalize the design and have the endlinks for sale in about a week to a week and a half. Stay tuned...
If you'de like to pre-order a set of endlinks then shoot me a PM. Otherwise just stay tuned. I'll send out a PM to all of those that were interested with the link to the thread with all of the information on the endlinks.
