I just installed my new projector lights with HIDs installed. My problem is that the passenger side HIDs work, but the driver side doesnt turn on! I hooked the plug back into my old H4 bulb, its sometimes comes on, i was hoping it wasnt the newly bought HID bulb, could there be something else that is wrong?

stock wire harness does not support the high amp draw of hids. too thin and not enough power flow. you need an upgrade relay harness with thicker wire. hopefully you didnt permanently damage the oem harness.

exactly what gear said. my Matsushita ballasts (nissan maxima) pull ~10A on startup. the pnp kit i got off ebay for my fogs says the max current inrush on startup is 20A. so x's that by 2. no way the stock wires can handle 40A. i have a relay harness with 2-30A fuses and 2-30A relays, one set for each ballast, and i'm running 12ga wire. to the ballasts.
