So basically my friend had a motor for a 2001 Honda Civic EX, I have an LX Coupe NON-Vtec and the motor he had was an EX Vtec, he basically gave the motor to me, brand new almost. The question I have is, what exactly must I do to wire up the vtec? I plan on dropping the EX motor in within the next 2 weeks, since the LX motor is greatly near the end of it's life lol.

i think its only one wire, the vtec solenoid wire at the back of the engine coming out of that cylinder looking piece. ofcourse you need an EX ecu also (and keys to go with it, or dealer can reflash new ones for you to match the new ecu).
