A week ago I bought a '95 Civic DX that did not have a stereo system. I had a new stereo installed today and discovered that the manual pillar mounted antenna is bad. The ground is broken, and when you extended it manually, it can be pulled out of the mounting bracket.
My question is, can anyone point me to a good place (online or in the Dallas TX area) to get either an OEM or after market made to spec replacement? I would prefer avoiding a "universal" solution.
The parts stores I have checked locally do not have a Civic antenna in stock and only offer universal ones. I have also looked on line, and found a few sites that claim the antenna they offer is an OEM part, but does not provide an image to verify that it is what I am looking for. And I have only found one after market antenna that look correct, but I just don't like the over all look of it (it would look good on and Air Stream camp trailer not a black Civic).
Thank for any help
