Question lock actuator

I have a 2003 Civic EX Coupe. The fob no works to lock or unlock the driver's door. Also, the automatic locking system of the driver's side will not lock the door. Is it the lock actuator? Do I need to order both pieces? Is it difficult to replace?

The fob works on the passenger side so I know it's not the battery.

Re: lock actuator

Same thing with my car you just need a new lock actuator there around 200-400 installed.

Re: lock actuator

Okay. So what pieces do I need to purchase to replace it? It is the driver's door if that makes a difference.

Re: lock actuator

If the passenger works and the drivers does not, most likely the actuator. It is about $25-35 for the actuator itself. There is a video on YouTube where a guy changes his drivers side on a coupe without pulling the latch assembly out of the door.
