Aftermarket Radio / Keyless Entry Question

Hey everyone,

I finally replaced my rusted out EG with a 2002 Civic EX Sedan. I've been doing some research, and I've been finding that the keyless entry system is built into the factory radio. Is this true?

If so, what's the cleanest way to retain the keyless / panic features as well as having my aftermarket deck. Will a wire harness take care of the keyless system as well? Or do I have to relocate the factory deck?

Thanks if advance for any advice!

Re: Aftermarket Radio / Keyless Entry Question

That is not the case with the 01-05 models. It was used on previous generation.

Re: Aftermarket Radio / Keyless Entry Question

no it's not. the keyless entry and radio have nothing to do with each other.
