Parking lights

I have a digital gauge that will dim when I turn on my lights. However, to get this to work I need to tie in a lead (just splice it in) to my parking lights on the positive side. Does anyone know where I can find this connection? Thanks!

Re: Parking lights

right at the park light socket. take it out like youre changing a bulb, then tap the red wire. also there is a park light wire going to your main gauges. i think its a red/blk wire. just test it with a multimeter to be sure it comes on with the park lights.

red/black is dash lights. red/yel is parking lights. both come off the tail light relay. that's why either one works. mine's 02 and i use red/yel.
