Hello, got a bit of a problem with my Civic '05. The blower works fine but there's no heat. This has happened before, a mechanic fixed it in about 2 minutes. Apparently there is a switch/wire behind the console, near the gearbox, that needs"fixed". It seems to have happened again, I'd like to fix it myself this time. Has anybody got any idea how or what to do?

also, make sure you have enough coolant in the system. the heater core is the first thing to stop working if there's not enough anti freeze in the system. happened to me after changing the water pump. until all the air was out of the system, the heater didn't work.
