Re: HELP: Cealing/Dome light

The dome light is provided +12 volts by way of the WHT/BLU wire, and the control ( grounding path provided by multiplex control unit) is the GRN/RED wire.

You will want to find both of these wires, they are in one of the A pillars but I cant say which one (my guess is drivers side)

Re: HELP: Cealing/Dome light

heh, for some reason i never could find that wire. i spliced into every single wire in the pillar and none worked. ended up having to run wire directly to the bulb socket.

Re: HELP: Cealing/Dome light

not that easy lol. i tried, it kinda just disappears and does not pass through the pillar. like i said, tried EVERY wire, then just tapped the socket directly.

Re: HELP: Cealing/Dome light

Another good low current source for this application would be the ignition illumination source (the light is only on EX models but the wiring is present on my 05 LX) The wire colors are WHT/BLU for +12 Volt source and WHT/BLK as the control wire. (WARNINGS... Those column covers SUCK to remove, you most likely will break the tabs. This source was only made to drive a single LED, I would not attempt to drive much more than some LEDs from it.)
