I want to replace the original stereo unit with a pioneer stereo.
Where can I download a guide?
How much does a garage charge for an installation like this (in average)?

Well, well that's not what I call a welcoming, constructive Forum. Assuming that I have done no search before posting here is short sighted.
The reason why I signed up for this Forum IS because I haven't found clear information in my search for this topic.

well, when we can do a search quickly and come up with many results, that typically means that a poster hasn't done a search. short-sighted? i don't think so. not when you see this kind of thing many times a week for a couple years. it's the same story every time. people just want answers and want someone else to do the leg work for them. if you did search, then good on ya. the answers are there though on how to do it.

i'm nowhere near bitter. you're awfully chipper for a noob to these forums. and yes, as gearbox said, i was talking about searching the forums, not the internet. i'm just doing my job to try to minimize the garbage posted (not calling your thread garbage, but there's other threads that are) in these forums when the topic has already been covered before.
