Spark Plug Tick

I just put in a new amp in my 03 civic ex and i have all the wires separated the power on one side and preamps on the other and i have a tick from the spark plugs and as far as i know they are the same ones the factory put in how would i fix this problem could it be the spark plugs doing it or something else

what does it sound like, ticking from speakers? you gotta make sure the factory grounds are tight and connected to bare metal, then run a new ground and power wire from stereo to battery. do not use stock factory harness for power and ground! also make sure your amp is properly grounded to bare metal.

my amps are grounded to bare metal the radio is using the factory harness i'll try connecting it to the same as the amps thanks

they might be they are the factory plugs so if i get different plugs will that help

factory plugs are resistor, actually most you can buy are these days to cut down EMF interference. idk what else it could be. you sure the deck is okay?

^yeah they do when they are off.

IMO the d17 is naturally a little loud on the valve / spark side.
