Cool, eager to hear what you find. If you could get a picture of the harness that plugs into the windows, that'd be perfect. I'll check it on mine then.

Hmmm........I guess the plug on the end of the wire that feeds into the door. Because it would be on the end of this wire that there would have to be plugs for both doors and windows.

You the man!
OK so I see where the red/white and green/white wires go into the door through the tubing but I see in the last picture there's also some blue wires and some yellow wires. Do you have pictures of where these come into the door? And also, do you have pictures of the wires that lead to where the power windows plug into the unit in the door?

all of the wires come in through that tubing. and the plug that plugs into the power windows actually sticks out of that plastic cover. its ends with a little harness that resembles the speaker harness in the door. and i have no clue what the yellow or blue wires are besdies maybe power locks
So whats the difference between the dx and the ex as far as door guts? If one gets ex door panels and wants to swap them onto a dx so it has power windows, power locks and speakers is it just plug and play? I do not want to use aftermarket kits!

That's the exact same question that started this thread........

Ok so I have a 1994 Honda Civic DX. I bought the door panels, switches, window motors, actuators, and wiring harness. When I got home I removed the door panel and manual window crank and window. The window motor seems to fit the bolt pattern. However it is differnt from the crank motor pattern. The door has the necessary holes. However I couldnt find where the end of the harness that comes through the door plugs in. Because my DX only has speaker wires coming through the gromet. And there is no where to plug the harness in. Im not totally sure but I think I need another part of a wiring harness. It would make sense that there would be a wire that runs from the driver side door to the back of the fuse box and then to the passenger side. And you would probally need extra fuses in the fuse box. One for driver window and another for the passenger possibly even one for the locks. Im going to a junk yard tommorow to try and get the wire that runs from one side to the other.
Because I wasnt just going to a junkyard just to get any normal wire. I was looking for the necessary wire harness so it would be plug and play. But since my civic is a dx. Its not plug and play. ex and lx are plug and play but my dx dosnt have the plug in the door jam it just has a rubber grommit with my speaker wire running through it. So there for I have to find a wiring diagram for the power windows and locks wiring harness. So I can wire it straight to the battery. So any help finding a wiring diagram would be greatly appreciated.
