Sedan Rear Speakers?

Hey, ive been wondering, to get a bit more bass in the back, would any of you suggest 6X8's in there? I know there would be some cutting involved, but is it worth it? I wouldnt mind if it wasnt too extreme. To remove this ad, register today for free or log in if already registered!

For the labor you would put into it you should just go for a sub. The 8s currently in my doors used to be in my rear deck in my last car but I still felt I needed a sub. Plus 6x8 isn't that much of a step up anyway.
It was a PITA to widen the hole. I had to lay upside down with an airsaw.

interesting idea, did the deck fit on after all that? I had to cut some out of the door witha dremel, so its not that big of a deal to cut, i just wanted some opinion if its worth it or not.

The rear deck did fit after that. I thought it was worth it in that car. I don't know if I'd want to use a dremel. It probably wouldn't be a fun clean up afterwards, not that using an airsaw was much better.
