Help....low beams not working, parking lights and high beams do.

I must admit that I'm not very mechanical.

I have a 03 Civic LX, 4 door. I noticed this evening that my low beams do not work, but my parking lights do, and my high beams do. When I turn on my lights, it acts the same as when I turn on my parking lights. No low beams on either. I've been told it sounds like a switch, which can only be purchased from a dealer. Is this true? If so how much should it run, and is it easy to replace?

I live in an area where most of the roads are lighted so I'm not sure when this happened.

Thank you.

There was a recall for 01s and some 02s for a defective headlight switch and/or connector pin.

Possibility of 2 blown bulbs.

Thank you. Oddly enough, yesterday one low beam worked and the other didn't. I had a mechanic replace the one bulb and all is fine.
