Thump from subs becuz of RCA's???????

i was installng a pioneer amp system with 2 12's, and its connected to a clarion head unit, so i hooked it up and it sounded alright, not that loud as i expected, than i noticed that i forgot to hook up the RCA's to the amp, red n white, and after that, the subs would make a loud THUMP everytime i changed the station or a new track on a cd... when i took out the RCA's from the amp, there was no more THUMP from the subs... hmmm... could it be a groud wire problem from the amp to the chassis of the car body? becuz i grounded it to the underside screw of the rear deck, which i ain't sure is even a metal... please help =] To remove this ad, register today for free or log in if already registered!
