I've been having this really odd problem with my civic and the stock OEM radio not having any power usually after it rains too. For instance it rained over night, the radio would work in the morning during my drive to school where it may slightly be drizzling or just moist outside, but when I leave to school the radio does not power on.
What I have noticed is it is not a fuse problem and I cannot replicate the problem. What I have noticed I can easily power the radio if I unplug the radio and either leave the key in accessory or while I am driving after 5-10 minutes I can plug the radio wire back into the radio and then the radio turns on again, but is all reset.
Could there be a leak in my car that the mositure causes the radio not to power on, but it still doesnt explain how I can unplug the wire from the radio, plug it back in 5 minutes later when the key is on and it works prefectly, I dont think its the fuses, but does anyone have any idea?
