under dash l.e.d's instalation help?

hey yall, im tryin to install some l.e.d's under my dash. i want to wire them to my headlights so that when i turn my headlights on they will come on. does anybody know which wire is the one that leads to my headlights? i drive an 02 civic. let me know.thanx To remove this ad, register today for free or log in if already registered!

i just tapped it to my illumination wire behind the headunit, but i only had 4, depending on how much you want to put, you might need a relay......

check out bulldogsecurity.com for a wiring diagram of your car! you can find a wiring diagram of most of the major wires in your car on that site.

blue/red wire (-) @ the headlight switch so you can find it in the steering column

I would reccomend a relay and a kill switch, just in case you want to turn them off. LED's inside your car can impede your vision at night if its raining. I dont really know why, but trust me, they do.
