trunk pop lock, seat lock, and trunk lock wont open...

wsup guys,
just to let you guys kno i have a viper alarm in my car.. so today i lost my car keys at school and i had my uncle bring the valet key. the alarm went off and i put the alarm in valet mode so i could start the car, but when i got home i noticed that i cant put the key in the trunk pop lock, seat lock, or the trunk lock itself. i have some important things in the trunk that i need. when i first got the car it came with just the grey valet key and i had it copied and used the copy as my regular key, but my original key wont fit into any of the locks? can anybody help me!? anybody suggestions or ideas is very greatly appriciated.
p.s. ill take pics of what i got in my trunk when helped

If I were you I would just try getting another copy of the Valet key. We all know how picky those things are, and sometimes even a duplicate isn't exactly the same as the original, so if it worked before, I would try it again. I am new to this whole forum thing but that is the easiest solution I can think of!

valet key only works to open door and start the car, not anything else.

Re: trunk pop lock, seat lock, and trunk lock wont open...

take of the piece that covers the lever for the trunk popper/gas door. take off the entire thing then take out the key cylinder out of it (only held in by a few screws). with all that off you can manually move the mechanism the key cylinder moves to unlock the trunk.
