Angry Really loud squeaking when I hit the brakes?

Hey everyone, I used to visit this site alot back in the day, but I forgot my user name and password on my old account so I had to create a new one. Anyway, I need your help!

I recently replaced my tires and brakes( in the front only) anyway after the repair I started to notice this squeaking noise when I would apply the brakes. I took it back to the shop 3 times and they would feed me a line of BS and never fixed the problem. They said it was the rotors and replaced them for free. Well now, it is VERY loud and squeaks and rattles and sounds like a knocking when I hit the brakes. Like a hit pitch noise almost. We took everything off and looked at it and everything looked fine. After we took it apart the squeaking stopped for about a day, now its back and we cant figure out what in the world it is. Anyone have any suggestions? The car has about 70K miles on it and it is well maintained. I dont want to have to take it in somewhere b.c I can fix it myself if I can just figure out the problem. Thanks for any help you can offer, I just want to get this fixed.

Did you look at the DIY to see if you did something different? My guess would be to regrease the shims and make sure everything is tight.
